Our Ghana Panafest 2025 tour will bring you into the heart of Africa’s biggest Pan African festival. You’ll spend 8 days and 7 nights in Ghana, the first country in sub-Saharan Africa to obtain independence. Your time will start in the capital city of Accra, where you’ll spend the day visiting important landmarks like Kwame Nkrumah Park, Independence Square and Jamestown Lighthouse. You’ll also enjoy the good vibes and fun on Labadi Beach. Next, you’ll travel to the Central region, where you’ll visit Assin Manso, the former slave market where captive slaves received their last bath; Elmina and Cape Coast Castles, where slaves were held before being shipped off to the Americas; and Kakum National Park, a preserved tropical rain forest with a canopy walkway overlooking the treetops. You’ll also enjoy the numerous Panafest events, including tributes to the ancestors, art, theater and music performances, royal processions, atonement rituals, panel discussions, and much more! You’ll have a traditional naming ceremony where you’ll receive a Ghanaian name. Your time in Ghana will end at our farewell dinner, where you’ll have one last frolic in Accra before preparing for your return home. Join us for a great time in Ghana.
